Build-A-Bear Day!!! 10-26-13

On the day of Seiden's surgery, mom and I had wondered into the Build-A-Bear Workshop inside Cooks.  We were passing time, but then started talking about how Seiden needed to have her first Build-A-Bear built at Cooks where so many memories and milestones took place.  While we were looking, mom said that she wanted to do the Build-A-Bear for Seiden as a family.  Michael and Brittany wouldn't be here until Thursday night and my Mimi was going to be coming up with my dad on Saturday, so mom wanted to wait until Saturday to build Seiden a bear.  My dad was there for her surgery on Wednesday and then left on Thursday afternoon and was going to be coming back up on Saturday with Mimi...so we would all be there as one big family to build precious Seiden a bear...or two...as a family!

It was the sweetest thing I've ever seen watching Opa, Bella, Uncle Stick, Aunt B, and Great Mimi pick out everything!  From the precious stuffed animal, to the clothes, accessories, and little buddies they each picked, it was so sweet and fun just sitting back and snapping pics while they discussed what they were going to get and then putting it all together.  They decided to build the "Cute Caramel Pup"...so fitting!  And Michael named her Aggie...GIG 'EM!!!  Uncle Stick, Aunt B, and Great Mimi also decided to get Aggie some friends to play with.  Uncle Stick decided on a little red fox that is dressed in a button-up shirt and jeans.  Aunt B decided on a tie die teddy bear dressed in a skeleton costume.  And Great Mimi decided on a beach bear print teddy bear dressed in a denim skirt and pink Paris shirt.  After they decided on the sweet little doggie and all her friends, it was time to get to business and build her!  The sweet lady, Esther, who was working in the workshop asked who wanted to stuff Aggie.  And Opa jumped right on it!  He decided that Aggie should be soft and fluffy...not too hard and not too soft.  After he was done stuffing her, Esther told us all to grab a heart to put in Aggie.  Since Cody was over at the NICU with all his family and Jake and Leah, I grabbed one for each of us to put inside this precious doggie for Seiden.  Esther told us to rub the heart on various parts of our body, each representing something sweet and special for Aggie, then we made a wish (we all said prayers and made wishes), and put our hearts inside of Aggie.  She has 7 hearts inside of her...Seiden is gonna be so loved!!!  Even by sweet little Aggie!!!  After that, Uncle Stick and Aunt B brushed her off while Bella held the blow dryer to get any extra fluff off of Aggie.  Then, it was time to pick out clothes!!!  Uncle Stick did most of the picking out, but everyone was holding up all kinds of outfits, shoes, hats, and bloomers to see just exactly what Aggie's first outfit would be!  They decided on cute little white bloomers, a denim skirt with crystals and rhinestones, a Texas A&M shirt, boots and a cowboy hat!  Uncle Stick took Aggie and all her clothes and accessories over to the dressing room to get her all fixed up.  He got her all gussied up and dressed and ready for her new life!  After Uncle Stick got her all fixed up, it was time to get Aggie's birth certificate and make her official.  Opa and Uncle Stick headed over to the computer while everyone gathered around, and a few minutes later, Aggie was officially born!  She and Seiden Grace are going to have the best of times together!!!  Happy Birthday Aggie!!!
